Question The Zimbabwe approach to economics.

So I gather now that Bank of England will be legally able to print money without having to declare.

Sounds like a great way to devalue a currency very quickly to me? I'd not underestimate the willingness of a few to do it prior to an election to win favour .

Still, no sterling in my pocket!

My prediction for "Best Investment Of 2009"?

Sell sterling, buy anything else - dollars, gold, copper, wheat........

As Branson said last month: "The British economy is f-cked!". There is not one GBP-denominated investment that looks attractive right now............
