Your first car
Mine was an Austin Metro, 1100 on a C plate with 4 doors. I loved it, no difference between first and second gear, or third and forth. Massive difference between second and third though making it basically a two gear car.
Had to upgrade the alternator as the radio would drain the battery in winter. Brilliant little motor. I wanted the MG Turbo version but couldn't afford the insurance premiums.

1985 Sierra 2.0 GLS. Battleship Grey with Cosworth Alloys. Bought off a friend of the family 'In the Trade'. It had obviously been nicked previously as it had cigarette lighter burns on the door panels etc. £350 sold as seen, 8 minuted later the clutch went..........

This heap of shite - a Morris Marina. Same horrid colour. I think it was N reg. It was cheap and I became an expert at jump starting and cornering in a car with no road holding whatsoever.

An Austin A30 built in 1953 I bought it for 50pounds in 1974 and sold it a year later for the same money. It had trafficators.. and I had to double declutch to change gears
