Fernando do Noronha Brazil takes some beating. Rio de Janeiro is simply stunning or Florianopolis or Maceio.

I love Bolivia too. Beautiful country, crazy people and spectacular views especially lake titicaca, Uyuni and La paz

It would be nice if I could visit Italy, Spain, France and Turkey. Beaches in the Bahamas would be nice too...

I love Japan, so would go back there, plus Oz and NZ where we campervanned for a month. Would love to go to a dude ranch in USA, and to take a couple of months travelling round the States - bliss. That's my next big holiday when the boat comes in . . .

Have been in rio for the carnival, been robbed in montivideo, got pissed in punto arenas, had dinner in valpariso, got stranded in buenos aires carrying a royal naval 'grip' (a logo'd bag),sailed up the pategonian canal, spend weeks sailing around and around and around the many inlets and coves of East Falkland.and had dinner and drinks in my family box at garrison savannah in barbados.

All the above was in a 3 month period

Bora Bora is the place i most want to go and would hope it would be a dream holiday but who knows
Next year....after being in Riyadh for 9-10 months.....i will be doing an Arctic cruise from Canada followed by a leisurely drive through the Rockies into the US.....it has been a dream holiday for a while so we shall see......

Think Rannoch Moore on the most driche (wet) cold horrible day, and that is summer in the falklands. In the winter the blizzards are horrendous. That said, it is a truly stunning place. Sea Lion island (HMS Sheffield memorial is there) is stunning. Pebble Island on West Falkland is lovely. Stanely is ok, gotta have a pint in the globe (if its still there). I would seriously love to go back there for a weeks hillwalking. Bit far though...

we looked into going there a few years back, you have to fly with the RAF there are no commercial flights going there.

To fly yes, you come into the falklands via tristar from brize norton via assension island.
You fly into MPA (mount pleasant) with a tornado escort

You can though visit on a cruise I believe, although not sure where you join/depart etc.

Me I went on a pussers gray
