I bow in awe. What was the build quality / reliability like? Was it predictable round corners? Did you test drive a T350 also, and if so how did it compare? What was the knicker-elastic-snapping range?

Ford F100 Hot Rod.

Black Shelby Cobra. Yes it has to be Black!!, or bare metal.
Best designed British car. Yes, better than the E-Type and DB5.

What makes Shelby Cobra British?

Didn't know. Always thought it was pure Shelby's endeavour with Ford engines.

Well, to be fair, which would you prefer? A wheezy old Ford of England 2.6 litre six churning out 100BHP, or a snorting, roaring straight through US V8?
Don't bother with a postcard! Carroll Shelby made the the Ace into a Bullseye!
Carroll Shelby first made his name with Aston Martin racers. Obviously liked the core product, just thought it needed a bit more zip!

Speaking of TVR's, I saw a vintage one today, mid 60's or early 70's I think...was quite lovely, except the brown paint job :/

The car was typically TVR, a couple of different shades of Blue though mainly Electric blue. The panels matched up 8/10. I never test drove a TVR from a dealer I either bought it from a trade website because it was cheap or like the Sagaris It was a PX I bought after someone decided to swap it in for a Chrysler 300C Hemi. One of the most exciting cars I have owned and 9/10 people did not know what the hell it was.

None of that mattered once it had started up though.
Or with mine the fact the the window wipers and indicators would random swap controls. Also the roof leaked, the radio was sporadic, random bits fell off and you could thump the back of the roof hard enough it would collapse the roof from the outside which made locking it pointless.... Still loved them tho...

And one of my worst ever driving experiences was trying to get a Griffith from my office to home after it has been snowing all day. When I could get the rear wheels to come out the gutter for a nanosecond I spent that nanosecond cacking myself it would gain traction and snap the other way into oncoming traffic. Actually gave up half way home, parked it in a pub and got a mate to come get me...

Anyhooow....

Dream cars too many to list them all and it changes frequently, right now 2 near the top:

Is the F430 the one that randomly bursts into flames?

ok there is in fact 1 dream car I have that never changes but given its rarity and the fact that the are super expensive it will almost certainly always remain a dream.

I present

The "Bentley Blower"

the dream: To own one and drive it in the Peking to Paris Rally.
