Like Meow said, chosen and actual careers don't often match.
I kind of fell into quantity surveying because there were no other options at the time. I didn't know what one was, and still ain't too sure, 21 years later. I had wanted to be an RAF pilot at school, then a vet, but such lofty ambitions fell by the wayside.
As for what I would like to be...chef, singer/musician, writer, painter...all four perhaps.

Just thought I would ask the question, what line of work are you in etc? we might be able to help each other out from time to time. I don't work officially but have recently being doing some social media stuff with local businesses. My husband sells water pumps to oil and gas industry.
