Er, what was his 9/11 conspiracy theory? My recollection of Fahrenheit 9/11 (not one of Moore's better films in fairness - Roger & Me is still the benchmark) was that Moore fairly soberly pointed out that the US had created many of the conditions that led to Al Qaeda forming and being able to execute the 9/11 attacks and that the US response to 9/11 only made things much worse, in particular the invasion of Iraq. It was a very one-sided critique of the GWB administration but it didn't propose any proper worthy-of-the-name conspiracy theories. It made a fairly well-argued (in my view, of course) case that the 2000 election result was pre-empted by Fox News calling it early for Bush and thus making it hard for Gore to make his very fair case. The most memorable bit was about GWB continuing to ready nursery rhymes to toddlers for 7 minutes after being told the second plane had hit on 9/11.

Are you confusing Moore with the 9/11 "truthers"?
