Wot a wopper !!
This ship

is in Dubai at the moment - biggest container carrier in the world - it can carry 15,000 containers, which is enough to move the furniture of Dubai expats for a month or two.
And only 13 men in the crew? Amazing!
What I find more amazing is - what's it doing here if there's no mass exodus going on?? What are "they" exporting??

not exactly the worlds largest cargo ship as that site says.
I'm surprised she's in a service calling in UAE. Thought she'd be in a more standard East-West service.
these ships are probably now turning out to be a huge mistake with the downturn in container trades

All fine until they get hijacked by Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden.
Commander - check out the first part of a series called Ross Kemp on Pirates (or something like that). He is on board HMS Northumberland on pirate patrol in the Gulf of Aden and there are also a number of marines on board. Very interesting and makes you pround of our forces.
