Re: Worst Film You've Ever Seen
Any film with Nicholas Cage. He is like the American version of Hugh Grant:
Every movie he is in he plays the same character - Nicholas Cage. That pained expressions and pseudo intense way he tries to speak in a half whisper yaaaawnnn I'm falling asleep even thinking of it

He had very little to do in this Timeline jobby - but I agree he's great. I just wish he would play a 'normal' role occasionally, instead of spending his entire career impersonating people (Brian Clough, Kenneth Williams, Tony Blair, David Frost, etc).

Matt Damon and Casey Affleck in Gerry (2002) about two hikers just walking…waking…walking…walking in the desert !

Dumb & Dumber. I know the clue is in the title, but I just thought it was utterly stupid and not funny.
And Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. So very bad it was almost funny.

Frost / Nixon was brilliant though.

Worst letdown: Event Horizon, but only because it seemed great when I saw it in the college cinema stoned completely out of my mind, and then tried to watch it sans drugs...

Event Horizon? Is that the one on a remote space station, mainly featuring Joely Richardson's nipples?

Look out for Unthinkable. Also stars Samuel L Jackson. A political thriller type of film that was actually quite shocking.

Can't imagine trying to follow Memento stoned, good grief. There can't be many films worse to watch stoned. (Actually, that could be a good topic one day...)
