Re: World Cup Predictions
Not really,
Its just that is ironic to me, all the fuzz with WC2022 in Qatar, when Brazil gets to do a WC having much bigger problems (economics, social unrest, corruption, etc) and nobody gives a rats ass.
And you probably not even know all the shit that the people of brazil have been put to, to have the world cup over there.
Did you know they evacuated the favelas (slums) nearby the stadiums? doesnt that violates basic human rights?
And that is just the tip of the iceberg, dont get me started on corruption and the reasons the stadiums are not ready.
I'm not jealous cause we are basically the same shit, a lot of people without real opportunities leaded by shitty "socialist" politicians. At the end the outcomeof this WC, will be driven by politics and that is what makes it shitty

The next day a car was found at the end of the runway. Inside the car were two dead bodies.

Re: World Cup Predictions
But apparently the World Cup is a disgrace because the favela's are full of people without the right chances or education / health provisions and they are all suffering more because of the waste of money this tournament has become etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Well, Brazil is one of the easiest markets in our entire portfolio. The teams that are there love it and the work is easy. Give me Rio over Kabul or Karachi any day.

Re: World Cup Predictions
With the football World Cup due to kick off in just a few days, GulfTalent has released its latest study on the expected impact of the games on workplaces in the Middle East.
Some findings of the study are as follows:
•During the World Cup tournament, half of all employees in the Middle East plan to stay up to watch late-night matches involving their favorite teams
•After watching late night matches, one-third of all employees will go to work tired, one in ten will go to work late, and 3 percent will call in sick
•Some employers fear that the combination of sleep shortages, absences, and late arrivals may cause a drop in their staff productivity during the games
In other news, a bear was seen shitting in the woods.

I have so far managed to avoid all games. I'm enjoying this world cup.
