Anyone know if the Worls Cup matches will be shown in the bars in Doha once Ramadan starts? My understanding that all bars are closed during the month of Ramadan. If so, is there anywhere else to watch the matches?

Bars are shut for the full duration . there could be a few hotels that show the games but it's not likely as it's lockdown here .

Maybe Garvey's will show some WC stuff during Ramadan as it's a private club , contact them via Facebook .

The best bet is to get a Mosaic package connected to where you live and stock up on the beer .

Ok - thanks for the info Co. Durham boy. Just waiting for my RP to come through and then will head out to the booze shop and clear the place out!

You get an extra allowance before Ramadan as well , make sure you stock up as it's a long 4 weeks ;)

I followed some advice and got Bein decoder for 1088QR for 12 month subscription.
Seems fair, and have all the Bein channels. I couldnt leave WC in the hands of Doha's bars.
Now I just have to get a lot of booze on QDC, some doritos, a Dominos/Papa Johns that deliver to my compound, and all set

Games are scheduled 12,3,6 and 9 pm brazil time
So around 6,9,12 pm and 3 am doha time

BeIn will probably show 1 out of ten games but charge the full amount like they did with the EPL!
