Working hours during Ramadan...
Anybody knows what the official working hours for Ramadan is? Or does it differ per company? Is it true that your business license may be revoked if you are caught working past a specific hour?

Other companies give all their employees, regardless of religion, reduced hours. |

Thanks for the quick reply Emerald Eyes!
In our company they didn't reduce our working hours. They just changed the timings to 10am to 6pm. |

Re: Working hours during Ramadan...
Two private companies I am associated with have different hours:
One is 0830 to 1600 hrs (1600 hrs instead of 1730 hrs for Ramadan) the other is 0830 to 1730 hrs (no change). |

It varies from company to company. My company is officially government owned and it stipulates that only Muslim staff may have reduced hours during Ramadan. Their hours are 7:30am to 13:30pm or 9:00am to 15:00pm. The rest of us poor souls have to work normal hours.
