I've always loved a girl in a set of stilettos, but it's 6 inches or nothing (had a girl say that to me once at a bar ).

The angle of the foot causes the calf muscles to draw out and the woman has to straighten up which tucks in her behind and pushes her breasts forward. It may also be emulating one of the visual cues men pick up on when a woman feels aroused triggering a subconscious reaction from men...or she could just be an attention whore .

That sounds more like a power thing?! If so, then does it make you feel more womanly? If so, I guess that it's the equivalent of the shoe experience.

For me, FMH shoes, red toe nails (if I don't have my toenails painted I am really, really miserable), nice undies, perfume and all the other girlie stuff make me feel very feel feminine and sexy yet slightly wanton in certain circumstances - I mean not if I'm at the office - wantoness is definitely off the agenda.

yes...for me being a woman driving a fast car makes me feel sexy...
the whole girlie stuff is nice...but feeling sexy isn't to do with what I am wearing or the colour of my nailspolish...

The colour and feel of the leather, the workmanship on the handle and whether the size fits your body............. for a start, and that's before you consider the price which is basically irrelevant if you've bonded!

Handbags are as addictive as shoes! And shopping for shoes and bags is heavenly

Not really, with cars some brands can produce rubbish for years (No names but an Italian car maker heavily associated with F1 is guilty of this at the moment). Sometimes a "blue collar" manufacturer comes up with something brilliant from the spare parts bin (For Puma any one?).

At the end of the day though, don't you think it's the accoutrements that add an extra spark, because if we don't actually feel good about ourselves then a few bits of expensive tat will never achieve anything.

We have to feel good about ourselves. Then being loved and giving love in return, as well as surrounding ourselves or spoiling ourselves with bits and pieces tht give us pleasure add to that feel good factor - oooh, I'm getting a bit deep here
