Dubai traffic police chief chases, flags down reckless motorist.
While on his way to work, Major General Mohammad Saif Al Zafein, Director of Dubai Police's General Department of Traffic, spotted a motorist driving recklessly on Al Garhoud Bridge.
The head of the Dubai Police Traffic Department on Sunday chased down a motorist and fined her for driving recklessly.
While on his way to work, Major General Mohammad Saif Al Zafein, Director of Dubai Police's General Department of Traffic, spotted a motorist driving recklessly on Al Garhoud Bridge.
"I followed her to observe her driving behaviour and the number of violations she will commit. After observing for a while I realised that this motorist should be stopped and her vehicle confiscated or else a tragic accident will take place," he said.
The head of traffic department followed the Emirati motorist, R.S.B., who is in her 20s, from Al Garhood Bridge to Al Ittihad Road leading to Sharjah. The motorist was speeding recklessly and swerved from one lane to the other.
The motorist even made a sudden swerve in front of Al Zafein's vehicle as he tried to stop her. He almost got into an accident by what he described "as dangerous reckless driving".
