In that case I'm more tempted. I'd love to know what percentage of people don't turn it off though

yeh, I only upgrade the apple stuff when i'm forced. That's normally at 2.5 years old and you are prepared to throw the thing away by then anyway if the update is rubbish.

2.5 years old?

Jeeze. I replace the iPhone quite regularly, well, every 12-18 months.

No, it's a compliment to you that your patience can sustain a 2yr old iphone.

I had a Macbook that lasted 7 years before finally crashing for good. I don't think I ever did an upgrade on it.

Now on year 2 on my new Macbook.

Hate Apple but it's better than everything else so what can I do? I refuse to get an iPhone or any other Apple products.

I adore my Macbook Air, but the memory is slightly limiting, so everything is cloud or external now.

My only issue with it is purely personal - having used PC's and Windows my entire life, learning the new commands and how to work stuff, find things, operate on Yosemite or whatever it's called is still a little alien.

I actually miss the simplicity of My Computer when moving stuff around!

I also have a 2 year old blackberry Q10. It looks like something the Romans would have used.
