totally agree with your statement. Roger is arguably the best tennis player ever, though on the decline. Nadal has raw power and desire - look at his eyes when he plays... Murray has pride, but that is not enough to be world champion - it needs to be tempered with knowledge and skills as well as mental preperation... Yes...you know what they say about pride and a fall? Murray is big on technical know how- for such a young un but I agree unless it is balanced with a mature mindset it is only half the toolkit of a great champion.He still has a lot of the red mist about him and I sincerely hope he doesn't physically burn out before he achieves his potential. He's got a few falls to take yet but his pride will get him through and hopefully onwards to great things. Nadal is like a panther stalking its prey when playing. |
