Cancer ?

This evil disease must have had more money thrown at it over the years than any other illness .....so will the doctors and scientists ever find a cure ?

Sadly, I doubt it personally....:(

There's actually promising treatment on trial for several types of cancel using cloning technology.

Apparently they take a blood same and start cloning the cells that are part of the body's immune system then put them back in on a regular basis effectively making the immune system stronger without drugs.

Some chap in the US was given the all clear from skin cancer after receiving this treatment...am hopeful that if the Luddites of the world can be silenced we could see lots of disease treated this way - drug free.

I doubt it, cancer is sort of built into our bodies as the cells regenerate.

Every few weeks your body "dies" actually, you never notice because your dead cells are being replaced with new ones taking the blueprint from the cell it replaces.
Problem is that it´s like putting a paper in the copier and then using the copy to make a new copy and so on..
What starts as a crisp picture will in time look like a blob (that´s why we grow old, fat and horrible ;)) and in time the small print telling the cell to stop regenerating when finished will be unreadable and the cell will just grow and grow spreading around your body until the body collapses.

Of course having a lifestyle that is similar to spilling a mug of coffee on the text in the first place tends to speed up the process.


In theory having a sample of your young cells to make an imprint on your old ones might do the trick..but not in our lifetime.
