ITV commentators (I'm watching in the UK) saying that it is just the visible lower tiers of one stand, directly facing the camera, that are empty, otherwise pretty full. Apparently those are seats with tickets directly allocated by FIFA...

Laughable isn't it.

But still, 570 dhs or whatever it is to watch the world cup in HD is far better than dicking around with low quality streams or trying to watch on any dodgy box.

You're perfect for the Dubai throwaway society aren't you.

probably think burger and chips at AED110 is a bargain.

Not minding paying for something that you see value in is very different to being throwaway.

I'll pay 110dhs for a burger and chips if it means you won't be within 1,000 yards. Damn right.

Love BeOut. State sponsored copy-write infringement. brilliant.

BeIn hurting bad... their studios and match coverage all done in Qatar this year - last time they had all their studios at the host city but that's too expensive these-days.

Imagine losing access to 50m+ people, about half their accessible user base.

It's quite funny isn't it. The rest of the world probably doesn't even know it's happening but it's the only thing they seem bothered to talk about on air here.

They have sent that woman with the funny mouth who can't present to Russia though, so I'm sure they're making enough cash from throwaway fools like me.

And now Saudi has filed a case with FIFA as Bein has said some nasty things in the discussions. Seriously? This is really playground s41T
