He lay prostrate at first, then rose, and slumped to the refrigerator. Prying the door open, he took a long stick of cool, cool butter and rubbed it over his wounds.

The sweet smell of the butter wafted through the air, out the window and into a passing sea breeze. It made it's way into an enormous set of nostrils, deep beneath the sea.

The nostrils flickered, a sleeping body woke.

Godzilla arose from the Thames.

At that very moment the alarm clock rang and it was 6:30am. Little did he realise at his point this dream would change his life from today.

He was realistic enough to know that each day was going to be different, but just how different today was going to be was going to change his outlook on everything he had done before. The tears rolled down his stubbly face. All was going to be different now, an unhappy journey into the unknown.
Never mind. In for a penny, in for a pound, and best foot forwards, but where the hell this journey was going to take him was quite literally in the hands of the God's he didn't believe in. Ho hum and all that....
He was a man so used to his own company that he was a self confessed social outcast. He'd met people and was not very convinced by their arguements, but, on the other hand this wasn't something that bothered him. The human race was flawed, and since he had come to this conclusion, including himself, going solo had never looked more like an appealling path to follow....
