Contrast this case with that of a Briton who was killed in Sri Lanka recently by persons connected to the ruling regime. After much pressure from the British government and threats of a boycott of the Commonwealth heads of State, the Sri Lankan government arrested the perps.

well, quite. She is accusing him of kidnap, he probably feels the same. I'm sure that's why they aren't getting involved.
