I don't particularly like scotch whisky, much prefer the smooth taste of Jamesons or other proper Irish whiskey's (not Bushmills though, too close to scotch).

But one Scottish single malt I'd never refuse is Laphroaig, from the island of Islay, and strong links to the Irish traditional methods. Heavenly.
