Everywhere we looked at is a bloody rip-off.

To us it's just another Friday night out, so we are refusing to pay 1000+ dh per head ('yes sir, but it includes free drink and food') and are going to a house party. Same for most of our friends we've spoken to.

But what I don't understand is, if it is true, then why would it be kept under wraps? Why not just announce it....in all probability the worst hasn't happened but just expected in view of this person's health...
