I shall never retire to a country where shops are closed on Sundays. Nothing is more depressing than walking into a town center that resembles a ghost town

Yeah, Azerbaijan was the same with the sat/sun weekend, and although nominally Shi'ite, you could buy booze everywhere, even at streetside kiosks, which would sell 330ml. cans of Vodka.
