With your intimate knowledge of retirement planning, please tell me you are not planning to retire to an EU/Eurozone country............... Cyprus was just the thin end of the 'wedge' (as it were).............

My dreams are frequently odd, but this one included having to buy cat food with a tiny can being €11! That's enough to put anyone off.

Hmmm I have absolutely no idea where or how i'm going to retire. I've only just managed to get to a position where i'm not robbing peter to pay paul and scrabbling furiously to survive without major debt. I'm also single with no prospect of not being in the forseeable future so to me looking at retirement is just a little depressing. I do know that if i can possibly help it, i won't be retiring in the UK.
