My experience in KSA was that if you could avoid the roads in the period just before sunset, Ramadan was an okay time. In Saudi, Muslim employees work reduced hours. Others have to do the full stint, but no one does much in the month of Fasting.

I'm trying to get out for the Big R, but they won't sign off on it yet (summer school looming)

Ancient Inca settlements, Spanish girls and Tequila are waiting for me to make a move.

Also what's with people starting threads and then deleting their posts? That's twice this week.

Sorry it was my fault. Our serial loser troll re-appeared...I zapped him and zapped all his posts.

It should be reduced hours for everyone. Depends on the company though. I will be working four hours a day, with the last two weeks as government given holiday, which won't be eating into my leave. No complaints here!

Found out we'll be doing 8-4 as that's two hours less work time.

Oh well.

that sounds like hard work.

9-2 for me, normally I leave after I've had my lunch at 1.

I shall be improving my swimming this year.

It is.

I'm expecting to get back in the gym. Been really shit recently and totally fallen off the iron-pumping cart.

Dad's here for the weekend, once that's done. I'll be up and at em ready.

Considering the number of hits the blog post gets (I think 20,000+ last year) I guess a lot of people are interested.

The year I was treated to 9-2 hours it was most useful.

9-3 for me, but like MH, I normally slide away after lunch. Been very consistent with my early morning gym sessions lately so I'm hoping to seriously increase the volume during the holy month.

Never take hols in Ramadan for all of the reasons stated, but I am off to Asia with Mrs Shed on the last day to avoid the ridiculous hiking of airfares during Eid and just after. :-)
