Where to look for shoes?

In France over Christmas, I saw someone wearing a pair of shoes I rather liked.

Good suggestions for where to look for these kinds of shoes in Dubai?

They were brownish and leatherish. Hope this helps.

Certainly confirms your not looking for anything blueish and suedish..

House Of Fraser delivery out from the UK. I've had some decent pairs off of them. Anything I find here I like is so bloody expensive that's is easier to ship it in from the UK!

You should have asked the owner.

It was on the metro. I only saw it for a split second.

On a related topic. Looking for socks too. Suggestions for good colours? Black or blue? Ok to have pink heels? I'm a bit partial to yellow heels myself.

I think you need to lay off the gin on your cornflakes.

I love a good sock. The brighter the better as they make up for my lack of personality.

On the off-chance that you're serious: first, ensure that you know your shoe size (including width) of proper shoes, then order from here:

Footwear Search - Pediwear

However, if you're only going to spend AED5k on a "proper" watch then you're not ready for "proper" shoes. :sneaky:

I suspect it wasn't the right moment for this type of humour.

(boring day at work and was wasting time reading archived threads on another forum with people asking inane questions about where to find X or Y).

I've just stuck one fitting a very similar description up a project manager's arse, might suit if you are one legged.

Are you one legged?

I look for my shoes in two places:

1. On my feet
2. In my shoe cupboard

Sometimes they are by the sofa.

Socks are a much larger challenge. When in the UK, they are often found in the garden where the dog has eaten them and shat them out.

I think it's time for an intervention.

You're living too fast, too wild and need to calm down.

Guys, can we please rally round Millhouse now and tell him to calm it a bit, there's more to life than partying and going mental all the time.

Millhouse, mate. I have a visitor coming from UK at the weekend and they will bring original British Crumpets (not the American muffin crap).

Would you like a packet to go with Gardeners World on Sunday??
