Venezuala or one of several other dodgy places in South/Central America or sub-Saharan Africa.

By the sounds of things he's scarpered like the big coward he is.

He's cleaning Car Windscreens at the ENOC Station in Mirdif! - Saw him there this afternoon, along with a 'Teddy Boy' called Elvis Presley.

Is that him behind the fridge?

...No, sorry that is Walli. Slipped into Algeria maybe? Governments will be watching the straights of Gibraltar anticipating he will be a massive cowardly baby.

ETA: What I'm wondering is if the Libya approach could work in Syria?

Has anyone tried the Sands Hotel, Jeddah? That's where Idi Amin pissed off to when Uganda got fed up with him.

Rebels aren't freedom fighters they are doing the bidding of Nato. Libya will not be free but under the slavery of those who will use it's resources for profits while bloodshed will continue for years. These so called 'freedom fighters' have butchered thousands of black Libyans simply because of their skin colour.

One Turkish construction worker told the BBC: "We had 70-80 people from Chad working for our company. They were cut dead with pruning shears and axes, attackers saying: 'You are providing troops for Gaddafi.' The Sudanese were also massacred. We saw it for ourselves."

I don't know if there is a strong rebel movement there aside from the Islamist bloc (who would be worse than Assad - we're already seeing signs they will be in charge of Egypt soon, which will mean war with Israel perhaps).

Libya could go down the same route - we simply don't know who these rebels are and what they stand for. Most Arab states are no ready for Democracy yet. Benign UAE style dictatorships work better at the moment.

Some sense finally.

Gaddafi used to hire African mercenaries and thats why many African nationals were slaughtered indiscriminately..
