Re: Where to eat?
they are good....
When working in Korea last year, i used to go to the traditional restaurants, sometimes on my own and try to 'blend in' with the locals, much to thier amusement as i couldnt even sit on the floor crossed legs. I also drew the line at eating dog.
Plus i am a six foot scot with ginger hair, a polar opposite from your average Korean.
Plus i dont slurp my food

Dear MM and other Bored members,
What is an "automatic takeaway"?
I thought it was when you ended up with a very persistent Chinese lady at the Rattle Snake............
Yours in ignorance,

Re: Where to eat?
Arabic sounds great, I'd love to find a nearby place to grab a shwarma! Know of any near Nuran Marina (Al Majarah)? And no booze is fine for me, though most of the guys I work with would be disheartened, can you expound on "Sham's end" for me? What other places is it near, as I'm getting more and more familiar with Marina Walk!

Brindian...
It's ok, nothing special.
Ravis....now thats worth going to.
Actually, the Spice Lounge on Al Wasl is worth a visit for upmarket Indian food (with no booze), Mannaland on the Mina Road for great Korean BBQ, Al Sidra for cauliflower sandwiches, Labneh wa Zatar for fattoush, ...mmmm I'm hungry now
