When I came to Dubai I was told....
...that it rains about 5 times a year,
it was PISSING down last night and has rained about 10 times in the last 3 weeks,
I'm not complaining mind, but is this normal...?

But I believe the recent rains are natural, however they all seem to be at night or early morning which is strange.

it never used too, but the last 2 years have been terrible. I used to come out here for Christmas Hols and go home with a tan every year, not now, it's too cold!
