In my experience when graphic designers get bored they invariably:-

don't do what they were scheduled to do
don't have the various materials ready
are working on random 3D computer game renderings that have nothing to do with "work" etc...
have "forgotten" that 300 dpi is minimum print quality
have prioritised Bob from accounts invoices rather than the main event...

If it was Spugsy, what would he do....?
