What's the worst present you've ever given / received?
 

The clap doesn't count.

I can still remember getting gift-wrapped socks when I was 4 and throwing them as far as I could in disgust. However, a sole, lonely rather sad T-shirt for Christmas from the missus came a pretty close second.

As mentioned on the other thread the Slendertone comes pretty far up the list.
In at number one though is the bagless hoover from kwiksave which broke down after a month.

He was never poor just tight, Yorkshire Austrian! lol

My ex for my first birthday while we were dating gave me something that I knew cost $1.25:rofl: It was appropriate and thoughtful. Though I had two.

My wife bought me some special hair-restoring shampoo once. I was totally gutted.

i have an aunt who for the last 8 years has been buying me thick jumpers for xmas every year, even better is she mails them out on the years we do xmas in Dubai. Funny as when I lived in Aberdeen she bought things like socks

A one Euro (She left price on) bottle of sweet wine from an Auntie. I kept it a year wrapped it again and gave it back to her.

I asked for stuff that would help me in new place (I got my apt here in Nov last year).

My sister bought me bin liners. A massive roll.

I gave my Mrs a GPS first year we moved here, I thought it made sense given that the place is impossible to work out for the first several months.

I've never seen her look so disappointed!

I'm grateful for any present received, I can honestly say I've never been disappointed on that front.
