its not really the construction noise that bothers me...its the workers clearing their throats and spitting.. yuk!!
And we are in Mirdif

well it looks like it will be finished soon....... you should ask your landlord to plant some tall trees near the compound wall

No room for trees.. those other two walls visible in the pic are not ours!!
We had no neighbours when we first moved in, now we are surrounded..and they are building them all so close together!

this the closest pic I could find of the view from my window!!! it isn't quite as bad as this but not much different!!! sick of it to be honest :(

cant wait! I was on the roof this morning having a swim and three extremely fit young men came up - obviously visiting one of the young men! Anyway he pointed out the Burj etc and then said and that is Palm Island!!! I been here since August and didn't know I could see Palm Island! Anyway they cleared off and sure enough you can see the trunk road (inbetween cranes) of the Palm! I was quite impressed!!! :thumbsup:
