no I didn't, it all became a logistical nightmare. Husband doesn't get home from work til 6 pm earliest, so then I thought book a hotel, couldn't get a hotel room for less than 1500 a night and I couldn't find anyone to go with anyway! but AnnaC did invite me to join her so that was not a major problem. Anyway a good friend of mine was launching her jewellery and had an exhibition here last night. So I went along an supported her, was a nice night but I really did want to see George but alas that's life isn't it 
Too bad BC, you seemed so excited to go.
Still, all things happen for a reason I believe & I'm sure your friend was very grateful for your support.
Hey,maybe when she's famous,she'll reward you with a trip to see George sometime in the future.
I know he says this is his last,but lookit Lilibet Windsor,Beatrix Armgard and Reg Dwight.Old Queens don't retire..xxx

well we are feeding two strays and I think they have now moved into our maids room, at about 4am I got up and Santi came through and meowed at me, then 10 seconds later I heard a squeakier meow, turned the outside light on and they were both there sitting on the doorstep...
