What's the best food after a night of drinking?
Came out the pub, got in the taxi, told him to find the nearest shwarma shop, ordered 6 chicken shwarmas and shared them with the kids when I got home. There's nothing like a shwarma to soak up excess alcohol and send you to bed all garlicky. Very comforting, until the next morning. And it beats the late nights in the Chinky takeaway in England where the dregs of of the British Legion pondered over the pancake roll or spare ribs.

Not a favourite...but it always works !
Raw rolled oats with some milk. Coats the lining of your stomach, absorbs the acetaldehyde from initial alcohol metabolism in the stomach, and stops you being sick (lower acetaldehyde levels).

The worse bit about late night drink fuelled spare ribs is in the morning..
the realisation a few seconds after waking up that you took them to bed, fell asleep watching the tv while eating them and have subsequently spent the whole night sleeping on them.
They are now indelibly glued to your hair.

youve never lived unless youve fallen asleep with your donner kebab, waking up with it next to you, chilie sauce all over the pillows. quick yawn, rub of the eyes, scrape it of the sheets and devour the whole lot...

......................Yuck.....Dont the stench of Kabab & garlic sauce the moning after will forever live on in my memory!.....
Picked at a cheese burger one night after drinking, picked the top bun off and fell asleep on the couch woke up next morning on the floor with the cheese side of the burger stuck to my face....
Have not done after booze food ever again!
Left over pizza with salad cream is nice.....

'Tis a late night snack...just presented the scientific facts as well !
Porridge (porage) is good for you...although in England you used to feed it to animals while the Scots slurped it up (Johnson on his visit to Scotland). The latter helped in producing a strong, intelligent martial race !!!.
