I feel that could and may end up being challenged under sexual discrimination laws?

Why are they "entering places of worship"? Cannot remember that last time at Sunday Service when the police dropped by.

there generally isnt a risk that during that service an extremist nutter is teaching disenfranchised kids how to strap a bomb to their waist and detonate it in a crowded place

Re: What is your opinion ?
fact i'm afraid.
There are unfortunately a number of extreme radicals within the UK who are more than happy to preach from the book of terrorism within certain british mosques. Abu Hamza being a prime example
to my knowledge we havent had any preaching of terrorism within british churches for a couple of hundred years now

Surely, not all Mosques are fanatical. I am just wondering what gives the police the "right" to enter? Are they not considered private property, would a warrant not be needed?

i'd imagine the right to enter is the same as under any other place, ie the belief that something is happening inside that shouldnt be

I really am not being personal, just really interested in how they are allowed to enter private property. I would have thought there would need be a warrant based on legitimate information.

if a man is beating the crap out of his wife and the neighbours call the police i dont think they wait for a warrant before they enter to stop him, presumably it would be similar. or if they receicve a tip regarding terrorism i'd assume that the terrorism act would allow them to enter without a warrant
