Re: What your most tenuous / ludicrous claim to fame ?
I went to school and was mates with Nicholas Beveney who played the Gunboat officer in Sahara with Matthew McConnoghy (sic). He was also Big Dave in the Pot Noodle advert from a few years ago.
Used to meet loads of "celebs" when my local haunt was the Sugar Lounge in Manchester, normally Corrie, Hollyoaks and Utd players.

I one more, I used to go Skiing with Eddy 'The Eagle' Edwards at Gloucester Country Club & Ski Centre when I was a nipper.
Umm, is it John C. Reilly?
Or maybe, Steve Buscemi?

I nearly crashed into sheikh mo a couple of years ago.....would have been his fault as well!
I have an unerring knack of leaving the room, being away etc when friends and family meet the so called "famous" so about as close as I've been is spilling beer all over gavin hastings at the rugby and calling scotland shite amongst other things whilst unknowingly standing behind andy nichol......he was not amused
