Meow's original thread is no longer open, so to continue;

I'm sat at work doing 'proper **** all', the Mrs left this morning and I don't fly until Wednesday early hours. I've got tomorrow and Tuesday to survive in a dead office with nothing really to do.

I'm just SO BORED OF BEING PAID TO SIT HERE THIS WEEK.

Some people of my generation do crosswords to kill time. There must be some cybernetic equivalent where you can waste time and energy and achieve absolutely nothing.

I think the mildly juvenile equivalent these days is FPS

Of course if you are alone at the office and the opportunity presents itself to have some fun with your (fun loving) colleagues then why not:

Pull the key caps off their keyboard and swap them around

Take a screen grab off their desktop then remove all the icons. Replace the desktop wallpaper with the screen grab

er...?

My kids couldn't decide which of the 3 heated pools to use first and had a tantrum. Then they couldn't decide whether to have White or green towels. This is serious stuff

Whether or not to wait until sundown for the ubiquitous sundowner. Then, should it be a G&T with lots of ice and a slice and squeeze of lime, a mohito perhaps, an ice cold beer, a glass of chilled Chablis ... decisions, decisions, decisions 🤔

The wind keeps coming from the wrong direction & flapping the window blind against the window.

Annoying

Two excellent suggestions.

I've decided to stay in the office all day today. Tomorrow I shall depart at lunch for a round of golf under the guise of meetings.

Today shall be a day of pranks. Suggestions welcome.

I was going to recommend podcasts but pranks are the way forward.

Try nail-gunning your boss's door shut, that is funny.

Might get sacked for that and he's not here - meaning it's full time take-the-piss-and-do-nothing mode this afternoon. I've actually got some stuff to do this morning but nowhere near enough to survive the day.
