Re: What sports did you play?
When at school / uni played loads:
rugby (to a pretty good standard)
white water canoeing (in scotland in winter....)
dinghy sailing
squash
football (for a while... stopped growing so as a goalkeeper didn't work out!)
juggling (is this a sport!?)
unicycle..... (!)
cross country running
10 km road races
cycling
and these days....
tried kite surfing but gave up...
really want to get back into mountain / trail biking....

Re: What sports did you play?
rugby
hockey
swimming
shooting/stalking
hill walking not sure if it counts as a sport unless you count munro bagging
then came here and did **** all physical exercise for 4 years now mostly freestyle bodyweight primal/paleo movements and training
only sport i'm involved in now is motorsports and thats as a marshall so again little physical movement.
upon my return to civilisation i intend to walk over as much of scotland as is actually possible

Re: What sports did you play?
Would one call sailing a sport? Sailing races are competitive activities but it doesn't fall into the same category as a rugby team squaring up with another rugby team, does it? Even rowing requires a great deal of physical energy that one doesn't find in sailing.
That said it is an olympic sport and I love it. Some of the most spectacular experiences I've had was sailing through the west coast of Scotland.

Five-a-side football
Karate (not really a sport)
Solo rock climbing (no ropes !) mainly at the Roaches in the Peak District
Occasional squash, tennis and golf (handicap 23 !)
Darts, snooker and eight-ball.
Tiddlywinks with my sister

Re: What sports did you play?
No mention of water sports? I'm suprised.
Great team player .
I play rugby but I’m not good. Was surprisingly (since I hate everything to do with physical exertion, in fact I’ll do anything to lose weight except diet and exercise) good as an oarsman in a sweep for a while, only got entered in two local races but we won them both .

Re: What sports did you play?
Played football and shinty (some kind of Scottish hockey) at school.
Was a member to the victorious Mustangs team that won the championship in about 1965 in our 3 team league in the Falklands!
Darts.
5 years in UK spent as a Spurs/Crystal Palace supporter!
Later squash and sailing both Lasers and racing yacht at JASC.
Someone queries is sailing a sport? Well being the bow man, clinging on for life and raising and lowering the spinnaker, in racing conditions, is one of the hardest things I have done! However the drinks after refreshed you.
Now retired to the gym now and then!

Re: What sports did you play?
Footie (All types) - School team
Darts - Pub Team
Curling - International level
Golf
Little bit of Squash and tennis - muckabout level...
And all I am left with is the odd 7-a-side and golf every week. Keep looking at the ice hall in Dubai Mall and dying to sneak in a paint a couple of 'houses' on them........
