Yeah I see a few PMC types knocking about, it's a bloody hard sell though here to the local clients.
A positive for me is that as the clients are so tight, if they take an international contractor they won't normally shell out for an international PMC, so there is an exponential decrease in contractual letter writing

We only work with the biggest of the big it would seem. Not because we're big time charlies, but because the rest fall over when we present rates.

Also, the quality of letter can decrease to simply raising two fingers in a meeting.

Pity, they've been here since the 90s and were always decent.

Standards and expectations have gone up a lot. The influx of higher end American / western fast food have changed the dining scene expectations tremendously. Restos that don't adjust will fail.
