Though for horrible and offensive it has to be Joe Dolce "Shaddap you face".
The only thing it had going for it was it kept serious musician and serial do-gooder Midge Ure from the top of the charts with Ultravox and "Vienna"

When I hear certain bands, and realise that some people actually like them (in many cases, lots of people who are total twats) it actually makes me feel a little bit sick. I mean, it comes close to ruining my day.

It's not so much the music that is horrible or offensive but invariably the singers at any pub karaoke session...too numerous to document !
