got one for my birthday from the wife. brilliant thing it is, the only problem now is i have to match it to a degree for her xmas. have a feeling she was thinking mulberry when she bought the ipad

Isn't a Kindle just a reader though? iPad does many other things and is also good for reading from. Mr Meow really likes his iPad.

Mind you, don't but one here as the mark-ups are riduculous. Get one from the UK for 40% less.

apparently you can't see the screen on the ipad if you are outside, I would have thought he would have preferred an ipad to be honest

It depends what you are reading & what sunglasses you are wearing. We can read The Times perfectly when sat outside

I have no idea, he is not getting one anyway I find it difficult to see iPhone screen in bright sunlight but it is fine in teh shade

agreed, also I make a point of every weekday morning starting with a cup of coffee no email no phone and the uk times, bliss
if they introduce the full sunday times then i may just take sunday mornings off
