This guy should design furniture for the MiddleEast market, it is right up his alley. The furniture I saw in Arab homes during my time in Abu Dhabi was rather gaudy, lots of kitschy ornate carving on sofas slathered with gold paint and fabrics with a healthy dose of shine.

I was watching a US program about real estate agents selling homes, one episode featured an Iraqi couple's home in Canada.
