Comfort food that is... when you are feeling delicate.

Just ate a big plate of cottage pie doused in hot pepper sauce.. Feel human again....

oh! yummy darling, I haven't had cottage pie in years.
Mine is a blue steak, large jacket potato with lashings of butter, grilled mushrooms,grilled tomatoes and braised celery hearts Oh...and a lovely bottle of red wine :D

Delicate hungover - Stodge - Full breakfast, bacon, sausage, egg etc etc
Delicate sick - Soup or toasties
Delicate feeling down - Full roast
Delciate been in Africa for over week working - Salad / fresh fruit....

Favourite of all is the roast....

i love a curry when im feeling a litte down..a nice and spicy one.

Preferably a small amount of chilli ketchup & a squeeze of lemon. Good for hangovers too.

Proper French onion soup avec grande crouton et fromage
Roast lamb
Chocolate puddle pudding (sponge with chocolate sauce that sinks from top to bottom during cooking)
Long island iced tea...

Decidedly bloody hungover today, had a curry for lunch and its worked to some extent. But normally for hangovers a full english, and the black pudding's gotta be done just right so that its crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. With proper sausages, too.

When I'm feeling down: pint of milk and a whole, big bar of Fruit 'n' Nut.
