I don't want gifts. I rather like getting gifts for people and rarely enjoy getting them in return.
Although a free holiday somewhere warm and tropical wouldn't hurt...

I'd like a week off without being disturbed:-)
I'd also like a pretty backpack for my trip to thailand. (and it is incredibly difficult to find something that is nice looking), Oh and a MAC (the dinosaur is still clugging on but the screen is now attached with gaffer tape)
Other than that I have everything I need other than some quality time with my friends and family

I want my mum. And just typing this has made me all teary. I won't see her until next August and it breaks my heart.
Since that's impossible I'd like to dream about my dearly beloved grandad who died six years ago. Because my step dad was a violent bastard, my grandad was like a father to me. He was my hero and my sunshine and i miss him everyday. This may seem daft, but I love dreaming about him and it has only happened twice since he died. I remember both dreams so vividly it's like they were real.
I'd like that again. Those dreams brought me true, heartfelt joy. A real physical sensation of being filled with happiness. Amazing.
Is this weird? Maybe. I just read the above and I sound like a total crank. Ah **** it, it's my wish anyway.

Well I think these "wants" are pretty trivial aren't they? Am guessing that there are plenty of families everywhere who'd just want their loved ones home with them for Christmas, especially if they're in war zones such as Afghanistan.
There's a single being released on 18th December by a choir of military wives and girlfriends masterminded by Gareth Malone. All proceeds (from sales and Itunes) will go to the Royal British Legion.
There's a link to a promotional video here:
I know it sounds really corny but I count my blessings that I get to sleep next to my husband every night, unlike the ladies mentioned above.

Already got everything...wrapped and under the tree..Santa Claus was generous this year .
Even my dearest wish was fulfilled..spending this Christmas with friends and family ...last year was a bit sad.
