You should also check out the Arabic bar on the floor above Rock Bottoms which is highly entertaining. The girls in there are dressed in what appear to be shiny foil dresses, reminds me of a PG Wodehouse quote: "She looked as if she had been poured into her clothes and someone had forgotten to say 'when'". Omanis are a hoot and love to get drunk.

So far I have: Slept in, gond to the office, handed shit in, milled about, met a mate for a coffee, gone to the pub. Then today, I slept in, ordered subway, trying to work out a system to decide where to buy some new sports kit...whether the drive to Sun and Sand in Al Quoz is worth it or just go to Dubai Mall. NOw I've got to wait for subway and then shower and go out. First american football practice tonight so that'll be good.
Tomorrow...is Thursday right?
Probably just chill out again, watch The Wire and then go drinking with work people for my leaving do.
Working this week would get in the way of all of this important stuff I have to do. You now understand I have no time to clean your apartment. Sorry.

Go to the Sun & Sand outlet behind the Gold & Diamond Park for casual and sports wear. Decent discounts and it's easy to find.

I'm on no scrounge... I just got my final settlement figure and it's fine. Meow is very kindly double checking the gratuity type stuff for me. But all seems OK.
