It's so weird that you said that, I have been listening to Jeff Wayne's masterpiece for the last 2 days.

I love it so much, great production and story. That led me into researching it all and it's really interseting, HG Wells did the original radio broadcast back in the states in like 1938 or something and it caused widespread panic as everyone thought it was really happening.

There's also a wicked statue of one of the Martian craft in Woking.

"The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one, but still....... they come!!"
