Weird
Is it just me or are some cultural differences just too weird? I often wonder where do they get their moral compass from round here...A joke shop?
Prime example (other than the obvious complete disregard for human life on the roads) is the free-to-air TV channels like Fox Movies. I am sitting here at lunchtime watching a film called Lord of Illusions featuring gory violence galore and lots of bad language. Of course, any hint of sex gets cut out (bastards). Not that a watershed would make any difference. From what I've seen, most people here let their young kids stay up till midnight or later anyway.

and yet the fashion channel is never censored and murrays last match at wimbeldon wasnt on dubai sports 2 cos the beach volley ball was...

no farking idea mate but last time i was bored enough to surf through all 120 odd channels (of which i decided all 120 odd are pish) there was a victoria secret ligerie show on...which was a pleasant surfing discovery.

There are probably about 267 members dating back to around April 2005(imho) in front of ya.
In fact in an effort to cut the waiting time,it appears the Commitee has asked to up the weirdness factor...so you might find yourself catapulted to number 12 on the list behind Johnny, Manos, Mary and Diabolical....
If you are ahead of me however I will file a case.........

We are kinda good about exploring language on this forum.I have to say though you gotta get in line cos you are still a newbie when it comes to weird.
There are probably about 267 members dating back to around April 2005(imho) in front of ya.
