Isn't it a bit out of place for them to say the police abused him and then to actually go on and say what that abuse was....... Not something we see in the papers here very often.

Wow , a 3rd world citizen getting acquited of murdering a local and police evidence overturned, what is the world coming to.
Can't imagine what chili up the anus is like, still I suppose it could have been worse, they could have inserted a rabid squirrell .

Comoros Islands passports are basically "Emiratis" without the wasta. Usually the UAE government give CI passport holders residency.
Dunno why.
And a chilli up the bum? Well the hotness of the chilli is inside, so I don't understand this.
But I'm finding it hard to sit down!

Didn't know that, interesting and quite surprising. Did a quick google on Comoros ethnic groups, African-Arab mix is stated as the overwhelming majority.

Police in California were found to use more pepper spray to subdue Hispanics (primarily Mexcians , Chicanos) because they are alleged to have a higher tolerance for hot chilis. Which makes me wonder if Dubai police would need to use more chili for certain ethnic groups.
I do LOVE Jalapenos on my Pepperoni pizza, but man does it come back to punish me .

Comoros passports are given to those who are pretty much unwanted or have fallen massively out of favour. A few people were stripped of their UAE passports and given Comoros ones after the Arab spring last year but mostly they are given to bidoon or others who they would rather didn't have full citizenship
