Weather back in the UK

I know some are going back on hols and Clifford has just got back to the UK.

What is the weather like? I am heading back to Bristol in a few weeks time and my wardrobe currently has no winter/warm clothes.

weather is crap there now...raining etc. Lots of TV coverage about floods.

That said, if you're not going for a few weeks, it will all change, so no point planning now.

My parents live fairly close to Brizzle and they are always moaning about the weather at the moment! for the second summer in a row they cant do any sailing because its so crap.

hope it improves by the end of the month when I go back (as long as I have my bloody passport). I do miss rain a little bit though!

I think the name Brizzle is very apt for it! In the 2 yrs there I had seen more rain than ever in my entire life!

Will be nice to have cooler weather though .. well, maybe for the first couple of days.

FD - that is not good news :(

What a pain. I like a bit of rain but was also looking forward to some glorious sunshine and sipping vino by the river.

I think much of the floods are up North way, there is none around here at the moment. Unless you feel the cold, I dont think winter woollys are needed :).... I get by with jeans, t shirt and my brolly when needed. They told us to expect a down pour all day Saturday and Sunday -Saturday was lovely, sunny but a tad windy and got washing dry, it began raining Sunday when the Grand prix started!
