I think I just saw a leaf blow past my window, and I got some water on my shoe on the walk to work. I, for one, am glad they closed all schools today.

We took the cushions in last night, just in case. I'm going to have to stand and smoke later as a continued 'just in case' preparation for disaster.

Maybe you're right. Sleep in the car in the basement. No, there might be flooding, the mezzanine level. Dry, safe, enclosed.

Haven't had much here in Masafi either so far. Just a few quick showers. Looking on the NOAA weather app its more up in RAK today and DXB will get some tomorrow morning.
