We have heard about a sling box and were going to set one up before we leave the UK. has anyone used/using one of these? are they worth it?

Watched a friend's the other night which he was all excited about.

Bleedin' awful picture by the time it got to his 47" tv.
Stop-startish.
He has to remotely control the satellite receiver in his home in UK, so the whole household (his family's back in UK) has to watch what he wants (or vice versa).

Jeez, I can't see the point in that...

literally just watched her, I wasn't impressed! put on pause to put away dinner stuff, will report back later :thumbup: Matt was good. Louis is being a pain.

but you have to plan in advance. I just put iplayer on and play it.

I also find that not everything I want is on a torrent site.
